I make 3-D, hand tied, wire sculpture in steel and aluminum wire. Themes include dancers, cyclists, wildlife, whimsical pets, hands, faces, musicians and everyday objects. Custom work? Ya sure you betcha!
I’ve been playing with wire full time for about 14 years. I love the challenge of creating a 3-D object with a one dimensional line. It requires tricking the mind into filling in details or waiting until certain details present themselves as the piece turns.
At my studio I’ll also be showing some older work in ceramics, drawing and other sculptural media.
